One fold
A long glass hall sits under one folded plate of Corten steel. The plate climbs along the front to its highest point over the entrance, then breaks into a row of deep steps that reach out over the glass.

Light in the steps
The steps shade the glazing by day. At dusk they hold the light from the hall, and the whole fold reads as one line drawn against the sky.
Corten steel weathers to a deep, stable rust and needs no paint, so the building is meant to grow richer with time rather than older.

The working side
The working side stays simple: a forecourt for delivery vans beside the loading bay, a planted drive, and the name on a lit Corten pylon at the gate.
